Our Craft

Engraved, not printed

Every piece is laser engraved. The mark is cut into the wood itself rather than sitting on top of it, so it cannot peel, fade or wash off.

Made to order

Nothing is pre-made. Each piece is cut, engraved and finished after you order, which takes 3–5 business days before it is dispatched.

Because production begins as soon as an order is placed, orders cannot be amended once it has started — so it is worth checking your personalisation carefully before you order.

Materials

• Natural wood and bamboo. Every piece is cut from natural wood, so no two share the same grain.
• Leather and metal fittings, used where a piece needs to be carried, hung or fastened.
• Wood is described by the studio as sustainably sourced.

Finish

Pieces are finished in clear satin polyurethane varnish — a protective barrier against UV, moisture and scratches that also lifts the grain.

Packaging

Orders are sent in recyclable cardboard gift boxes and sleeves.

Personalisation

Names, dates and short messages are engraved exactly as written, including capitals and punctuation.
